Cut&Make was born in 2012 from an obsession with a stamp sheet.
Not the stamp itself — but the perforations. The precise, deliberate lines that invited you to tear, to separate, to complete. That idea — that an object could hold its final form in the hands of the person receiving it — became the foundation of everything we make.
We were one of the first card labels to work exclusively with die-cut design. It is a complicated, expensive, and uncompromising process. But it allows us to do something that a printed card cannot — to create form, fold, and interaction. To make a card that asks something of you.
Our cards are minimal by intention. They don't finish the thought for you. They leave space for imagination — a pop, a fold, a reveal. The person who receives the card becomes part of the design.
In a world where everything arrives complete, instant, and disposable, we make the opposite. Objects that are tactile, considered, and deliberately unfinished.
Over ten years on, that vision is still at the heart of Cut&Make. The cards have become quieter, more refined, more themselves. Some have become design classics. None of them shout.
They just invite you to look closer. And then to make something.

Cut&Make cards are sold in specialist shops all around the world.
Most of our cards are produced/manufactured by local workshops in Berlin and we hope to continue in supporting our local businesses.
